Look at that, some time to kill...

Watch out Batman, here comes Bilbo.
...So how about an update? I'm just off the midnight 3D/HFR premiere of The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey, surely the most expected movie of the year (no pun intended). I must say that this movie surpassed all my expectations - it was simply amazing, and honestly, I liked it more than I liked The Fellowship of the Ring the first time around. I know there have been mixed reviews of the movie all around the net, but take it from me: this movie is a must-see, whether you're a true Tolkien fan or half of a fantasy buff in general. Smell a Tolkien marathon coming...? Well, then I must say you're off the scent - we'll see about that next year when The Desolation of Smaug comes out. Right now, I'm sticking to the previously appointed "schedule".

My schedule's a bit off because I deliberately slowed down on the 007 marathon, waiting for a couple of games I was promised to show up, but they never did, and probably won't, so I'll carry on later today. I replaced these couple of PlayStation games with a couple of more recent PC games, one of which is a licensed title, off a Bond movie I haven't yet seen, but I'll fix that error before reviewing the game. Either way, I have plenty of games to go. About the ratings, they will surely get better... eventually. I don't think one Bond game will climb over the coveted 9, but stranger things have happened.

About what I've been playing lately outside the box, four words: Shadows of the Damned. A review of this novelty item will surely turn up quite soon, perhaps even in the middle of the 007 marathon; I have so many things I'd like to say about this game that I simply can't wait for these marathons to be over with, or for the next Monster Mash.

I'm off to work in less than an hour - by the power of coffee!! So, in a nutshell: go see The Hobbit, stay tuned for more Bond, James Bond, as well as a review of the most twisted "horror" game I've ever played, stay safe, brush your teeth, and remember that Santa's watching.
